Simple Rapid Analysis of Packaging for Volatile MOSH and MOAH Contaminants

Comprehensive analysis of Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) is very challenging and time consuming.  Fortunately, Syft Technologies recently published an app note entitled "Simple Rapid Analysis of Packaging for Volatile MOSH and MOAH Contaminants" by Vaughan S. Langford and Mark J. Perkins demonstrating the capabilities of automated headspace-SIFT-MS in screening large quantities of mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) and mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons (MOAH) in packaging materials.  The results showed that headspace-SIFT-MS can screen over 220 samples per day, which is nearly seven-fold more samples than legacy liquid and gas chromatography methods.  Read more about how SIFT-MS has made routine analysis of MOSH and MOAH compounds...Simply.
