SIFT-MS is a new tool for real-time, selective and economical trace gas and headspace analysis. SIFT-MS uses ultra-soft chemical ionization (USCI) to quantify volatile compounds, including chromatographically challenging species such as formaldehyde, formic acid and ammonia.
